Every now and then, we come up with some ideas that just don’t fit into any of our clients’projects. No matter. On that rare day or so where we have a little unexpected free time, we produce the ideas just for fun. What you see on the left is our label wrapped around a can of air freshener. The product label reads “Veep Away” and it ostensibly contains executive repellent. The funny thing about it is that we produced it and stuck it on a desk. The VP in question who inspired the product loved it, and wanted one for his office, so he could repel all the other vice presidents.
The product on the right was, at one time, a can of Quaker Oats. No more. Now it’s “Instant Karma (just add irony!)” It’s a rich source of maya, and the package recommends, “to curry favor, favor curry” (with a tip o’ the hat to P.D.Q. Bach).
